The evening started high along the Blue Ridge Parkway, where the air was cold and the views stretched on forever. Kira and Greg stepped out into the wind like it was nothing—laughing, moving, and settling into the moment as the mountains set the backdrop for the beginning of their story that night.

We moved from overlook to overlook, letting the pace stay easy. No rushing. Just taking it in. The kind of cold that keeps you close, keeps you moving, and makes every laugh feel earned. It didn’t take long to see how natural these two are together—steady, comfortable, and completely in sync.

As the light faded, we headed down into downtown Blowing Rock. The Christmas lights were already glowing, wrapping the streets in a quiet warmth that felt like the perfect contrast to the rugged mountain start. Somewhere between warming up, meeting a few new dog friends, and slowing things down, the session took on a different rhythm—calmer, quieter, and just as meaningful.

By the end of the night, it was clear this wasn’t just about photos. It was about capturing a season—one that’s full of anticipation, excitement, and what’s ahead.
